Hidden Monokumas (隠れモノクマを) are a collectible item featured in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. They are spread throughout Jabberwock Island in every chapter and appear in the overworld as a Monokuma sprite. Collecting half, then all of the 30 of them will reward the player with trophies. They can only be found in their respective chapters.

First Island/Chapter 1[]

The first one is in Hajime's room. Just look up to the ceiling to find it. It must be found before proceeding when playing for the first time. | ||
The second one is in Rocketpunch Markets, next to the vending machine. | ||
The third Monokuma is in the Airport sitting on the red piece of luggage in the baggage claim to the right. | ||
The fourth Monokuma can be found in the Old Building's Office. | ||
The fifth and final Monokuma will be found in the victim's cabin. |
Second Island/Chapter 2[]

Look over Kazuichi Soda's head while on Electric Ave to find the second Monokuma. | ||
Go to the end of the hallway in the Hospital and turn right. The third Monokuma is directly across from the stairs. | ||
Once you can go up the stairs in the Hospital, you will find the fourth Monokuma in the Conference Room. | ||
You will find the fifth and final Monokuma in the second victim's motel room bathroom. |
Fourth Island/Chapter 4[]

The fifth and final Monokuma is in the Standard Room in Strawberry House. The Standard Room can only be accessed after Free Time begins. (Can only be seen when playing as Hajime Hinata). |

Hope's Peak Academy/Chapter 6[]
Unlike previous chapters, this chapter is linear, in that when you leave a room you are unable to return to it. As such, be sure to obtain these Hidden Monokumas in order or you will have to repeat the chapter.
Ending[]
After collecting all of them, Monokuma will show up in Hajime Hinata's cabin to congratulate him, and give him his "prize". Which is just a series of Monokuma poses in his various sprites before he leaves. Hajime, understandably, is upset.

- The trophy name "Be Beary, Beary Quiet..." is a reference to the classic cartoon Bugs Bunny, specifically with the character Elmer Fudd saying his iconic line: "very very quiet, I'm hunting wabbits."
- The Hidden Monokumas found in Chapter 5 are most likely a reference to Megami Tensei's COMP.
