Appearance
Guard Monokuma wear Police Helmets with visors, and carry riot shields with the word "KUMA" and the iconic red monokuma eye.
Gameplay
These Monokuma Units cannot be damaged from the front by Komaru Naegi's Hacking Gun, and must be destroyed from behind. This is usually done by stealth, using environmental factors, or destroying a Bomber Monokuma nearby. The Hacking Gun's KNOCKBACK Ability is particularly effective against Guard Monokuma, and will blast away the riot shields, allowing them to be destroyed similarly to a regular Monokuma Unit.
