Hey do you guys know if it's possible to turn off/limit Google integration with the wiki? When a page shows up in a Google search it will pull info from the page and display it alongside the result, unfortunately including the Alive/Deceased feild. Cheers!
Yes we're aware of this issue, however we haven't found a way to fix it yet. We've theorized that it's possible Google's algorithm picks up on what people are searching, example being [CHARACTER] Deceased or [CHARACTER] Status (since Execution videos also come up since they're watched a lot). So if that's the case, we can't control it and we're not removing information from a page.
But that's just a theory, either way we have tried a few things and nothing worked. The most we can do is just warn people to be careful til the game comes out. :C
Hello Monollama. I am writing on your wall to inform you about my recent edit on Tsumugi Shirogane's page.
I discovered a creditable translation of her Free Time Events and thought to post the information (Game may be two weeks away, but the more info we have until then the better I thought). However, I'm not 100% certain I sourced it correctly? The link shows up a the bottom of the page but with no real description like the other links. I'm so sorry to bother you with this issue, but would it be possible to correct it? (If it even needs any correcting at all. I may just be paranoid. lol). I was somewhat active back in March and have now only gotten more active again with V3 right around the corner so my editing is still rather rusty.
Hello Monollama, how are you doing? It's me LaskaLight from before, i noticed that the execution music on Makoto's Execution are similar on both anime and the game version but a little different on some instruments. Although the only one i see uploaded on the wiki is the game soundtrack version, so i decided to give this link to help you guys more with the danganronpa wiki https://youtu.be/g6o6bxhzvEs ( the anime version soundtrack of the execution.)
I know this is not important to say but im actually making my own danganronpa charcaters, murders, execution and story im not gonna spoil anything of it but its just to let you know that im a huge danganronpa fan that has decieded to make my own killing game :).
Hey there! I'm doing good! Thank you for wanting to help, I really do appreciate it!! However because of possible legality issues, we'll be removing all of the music track videos in the near future. I simply haven't gotten around to it yet because it's quite a few I need to delete haha. But again thank you for wanting to help! <3
Also that's really cool! Making your own Fan!DR is a lot of fun. :D I'm sure it'll be great!
I happened to become admin of the Akuma no Riddle Wikia not long ago and was asked by somebody from the DR-Wikia about a Wikia affiliation. But I was off from the Wikia due to real life reason for a while and as I wanted to reply to the offering now I saw the message got deleted so I couldn't. Now that I've returned from hiatus I wanted to ask if the DangonRonpa community still would be interested in an affiliation between the two Wikias.^^
It was me who posted on your wall actually, hello.
At the current time we're going to have to decline the affiliation, for a couple of reasons:
After posting on your wall in June, and responding to your questions about what affiliations entail, you never got back to me. A few days after I proposed affiliation, I also left a post on your wall offering to help you build up the Akuma Wiki and to ask if you would consider allowing me some staff rights in order to do so. I'm a big fan of Akuma no Riddle, and wanted to share my passion as well as what I have learned during nearly 2 years of Admin experience here and on other Wikis to help revitalize the Akuma Wiki, which seemed very inactive and lacking in many areas as a result. However, I never received any response to either of my posts, despite seeing you being quite active on a daily basis during the time I posted and for a few weeks afterwards, so I assumed you weren't interested in collaborating with me and deleted my posts.
As a result, because I was still very passionate about building a comprehensive Akuma Wiki but felt I needed some Admin controls to develop things to the best of my ability, I started my own at (Riddle Story of Devil), where you can see that I've been quite busy building comprehensive pages and creating a modern and professional looking layout. As such, I have currently affiliated my own Wiki with Danganronpa Wiki.
I would still like to collaborate with you at Akuma Wiki if you are interested, but I hope you can understand why I would assume you were ignoring me deliberately - I contacted you in mid June, and it is now September. I was going to hold off til I had built up my own wiki more, but in the future I was going to suggest a possibility of merging. As I've shown, I have a lot of experience I could bring to the table, and you can see the quality of my work both on the Riddle Wiki and here on Danganronpa Wiki (where you can see the sheer number of edits I have in such a relatively short period of time).
If you'd like to further discuss this, it would probably be better discussed on my wall over on Akuma Wiki.
Hi there! I'm Xaria and as you might know, I'm also admin on polish Danganronpa wiki. I'm here because I need to talk about "shared images". I'm pretty sure you know about this but I'll send link anyway (here ). Our wiki really wants to share images with you (and thanks to that, it would be easier for our wiki!).
Though, I need agreement of admins (the more the merrier). So thank you very much and I'll wait for your response!
Hello, Monollama. I am admin on a russian wiki and I am here to discuss a shared images repository with you. It allows two wikis to share images. We, russian wiki, want to share images with you. We need an agreement of all admins to do that. You can see more detailed explanation here. I am looking forward to your response.
(Also, excuse me if I had any mistakes.)
Are you certain you need all the admins to agree? From my understanding, wikia usually allows a "Community Consensus" where active editors vote to support something, or a single admin (sometimes also a bureaucrat) agreeing on it.
For example to get approval for a bot account for a wiki, you only need one admin's agreement on their wall for it. The example seen here.
But if you feel safer with all the admins agreeing, that's okay. Just know it'll take a bit since two of ours are on hiatus. :)
