Kiyotaka Ishimaru School Mode Pixel Icon (3)
This article is covers Kiyotaka Ishimaru's School Mode events, which feature in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. In this article you will find a guide to which trip options will give the best results, full transcripts of each trip, and transcripts of his Trigger Happy Heart event and School Mode ending.

Mechanics

After choosing where to go on a trip, Makoto will have a series of conversation topics to choose from. Depending on the option chosen, Makoto will receive a different response:

Best Option 1 heart
Good Option ½ heart
Bad Option No hearts
Worst Option No hearts

When getting close to 10 full hearts, Kiyotaka's Trigger Happy Heart event will be triggered, which will give Makoto an insight into Kiyotaka's inner thoughts.

Achieving 10 hearts will unlock Kiyotaka's ending at the end of School Mode. On the 51st day of School Mode, Makoto will be alone in the Gym with any characters that the player has earned full max reputation with. Talking to them will trigger a final dialogue choice option. If the player selects the correct answer, they will receive that character's special present - that character's underwear. This will also unlock a heart icon next to that character's picture's on subsequent playthroughs of School Mode.

Trips

Dining Hall

For breakfast, Japanese style is best.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
You got it! All I need is my miso soup and my pickled veggies and I'm good to go! But still, that doesn't mean I *never* eat Western food. Sometimes I eat toast for lunch! All I need is my fried egg and my banana and I'm good to go!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
But either way, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Make sure you eat plenty, Makoto!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
Want something to drink?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
...Is that why you brought me here? I thought maybe you had something important you wanted to talk about.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
But thank you for your thoughtfulness! Okay then, let's have some tea!
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
When I'm starving, it's burger time!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
I won't deny your preference, but...
...hamburgers are utterly unorthodox! A true Japanese student should always recommend rice balls!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
It's true, hamburgers do provide plenty of caloric energy, but they're bad for your digestive system!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

So what do you like to do at night?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
After I study for the next day's lesson, I like to cleanse body and soul, strip down, then hit the sack!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
You should follow the same regimen! Even outside of class, students have no time for goofing off!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
You think that clock is right?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
Hmm... According to my watch...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 13
M-My goodness! It's slightly off! When the clock everyone relies on is off, that's a big problem...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
But who can we ask to fix it? It'd probably have to be...Monokuma, right?
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
How do you get your hair to do that?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
To do what? Hair doesn't matter! Your only duty is to study!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Everyone here lacks the necessary qualities of a student! And that includes you, Makoto!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

You're always so...fired up.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Now I have to hear that from you, too? I mean...other classmates have told me the same thing before. Honestly, I never really understood what any of them were talking about.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
All I know is, I don't want to get dragged down by those around me! So no matter what anyone says, I will not falter!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Hahahahaha! Do you know what I'm talking about!?
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
What should we talk about...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
What *is* there to talk about? If you don't know what else to do with yourself...
...you should review the school regulations in detail one more time!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
It's important for every student to know their school's regulations like the back of their hand!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
Do you know how to cook?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Of course! I've been very diligent in my culinary studies. My personal specialties are rice balls, and rice with green tea. I've been learning how to make my rice balls in different shapes. The star shape is the hardest!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
See? Even I know how to relax and have a good time once in a while! Hahaha!
Guide Project Makoto 06
His idea of a "good time" is kinda...weird.
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...

School Store

You think there's any uniforms here?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
It's a school store, of course there are! I intend on buying *that* here, if nothing else.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
I need to get into this school's uniform and dive into my studies!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
Do they have any new anime DVDs here...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
I would never presume to judge someone's hobbies...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
...but if you want my opinion, anime is a total waste of time! Stop watching it!
Guide Project Makoto 06
How is that not "presuming to judge"...?
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
I want this awesome armor!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 10
You want something like...that?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Wh-What are you planning!? Are you preparing to battle with someone!?
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

I remember these toy vending machines!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
Hmm. Indeed, they're a common part of most people's childhood. But I've never touched one even once in my life!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Still, I have those same fond memories. I saw a classmate use one once!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
That's a pretty cute doll.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
I have no desire to play make-believe. If that's what you want, go find some little girls to play with.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Besides, we're high school students, for gosh sake! It's time you put away your childish things!
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
Let's dig for treasure!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Dig for treasure!? Makoto! School is where you come to devote yourself to your studies!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
This is no time to get addicted to treasure hunting!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Let's organize things in here a little...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Organize, eh? Hahaha! You have a truly diligent soul, Makoto!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Okay, let's work together to finish the task! No time like the present, am I right? So let's get to work right away!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
There's all kinds of paintings here...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
As they say, to appreciate art is to develop the heart! I feel like this painting realizes and recognizes this sort of belief. But to find it here in the school store... Is someone trying to sell *this*, too!?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 13
This is certainly a surprise! The scale at which this school operates is immesurable!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
That's a huge vase!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
It's very large, you're right. And it has an air of history that you can practically touch. I have to wonder how something like this wound up here...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Maybe they intended to fill it with flowers and beautify the school.
Guide Project Makoto 11
Or maybe someone simply brought it here to try and sell it.
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...

Library

Maybe we should tidy up a little.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Indeed! I like your attitude! To place value on a book is to place value on knowledge! And more than that...
...you've shown moral judgment in wanting to make this public area more beautiful. Simply splendid! But make no mistake, I was thinking of doing the exact same thing! Then shall we begin, my brother in arms!?
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
I wonder if any of Toko's books are here.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
Toko's books, you say...? N-No... I mean, a classmate wrote them, so I should probably at least take a glance, but...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
But I d-don't know too much about romance novels and the like...
Guide Project Makoto 08
Yeah, he definitely looks uncomfortable with the idea of romance...
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
There sure are a lot of books here.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
...And? What's your point? This is a library! Of COURSE there are a lot of books here!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Should we spend some time studying?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 20
Makoto! I'm very impressed! You've decided to pursue knowledge of your own free will! In situations like this one, such independence is a true student's last refuge!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
I fully support your perseverance, so let's combine forces and do our best!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
I love reading!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Books grant us knowledge, so any student should embrace the habit of reading.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
And if you can actually come to *enjoy* reading, so much the better!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
I'm gettin' kinda sleepy...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Stop slacking off, Makoto! Your duty as a student is to study! What's the point of standing around in a daze!? As a member of the public morals committee, allow me to help you shape up and fly straight!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Do you come here a lot?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Naturally! Without classes or worksheets or anything, this is the only way we have to learn anything!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
It's strange though, isn't it? Monokuma calls himself the headmaster, but there are no teachers... Although we all came here to learn, it would appear that they didn't bring anyone here to teach!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Or...could it be...? Is Monokuma properly certified to teach every single subject himself!?
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
This place is so quiet...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
To disturb the peace of the library is unthinkable! You must be careful, Makoto!
Guide Project Makoto 22
I think *he's* the one that needs to be careful. But I'll keep that to myself...
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
I just wanna read comics...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 13
A-Are you blind!?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
This library has a collection of all the greatest literature by all the greatest authors!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Rec Room

Is that a dartboard?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
Ah yes, darts. I actually tried my hand at it with Celeste already. When do you go for more points, and when do you give up? It's actually a pretty intellectual game!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
Of course, the game ended in a clean sweep for Celeste...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Apparently I still lack the proper diligence!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
What kinds of magazines do you like?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Oh, I don't read magazines. A nice, thick newspaper is all I need!
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
Let's check our horoscope in the magazine.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Y-You believe in stuff like that!? Pitiful, Makoto... Very pitiful! I mean really...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
I hate being manipulated by the stupid horoscopes they put in these stupid magazines!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

I'm not sure about any of these games...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
Hahaha! You've got a point there! This rec room is more of a hassle than it's worth, that's for sure.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Now let's go to the library and hit the books! Plant that butt, arch that back, put your head down and get to studying!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
Hope's Peak really is amazing...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
Mm, indeed. It's a most excellent facility.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
A room like this is completely unnecessary for a positively sacred school like this. Am I right?
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
Kinda boring here, huh...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
There's no such thing as boredom in life! If you're bored, that means you're wasting time! You're the one who invited me here!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
If you're just standing around with all this spare time, it would've been better to spend it studying!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Wanna play Othello?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Oh! Yeah, Othello's good stuff! I'm quite skilled at brain games, ya know. I'm gonna push you to your limit!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
Let’s play some pool.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
Hrmmm...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Okay, you got it! Let's play! Let's begin with you explaining the rules to this "pool" you speak of!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
Have you ever made a ship in a bottle?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
I'm not so good at detailed handiwork like that. I mean, it's such a small opening, and such a big ship. It's...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
It's impossible! There's no way it can be done!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Music Room

I'm a big fan of music.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Yes, it's very important for a student to hone their musical sensitivity!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
I know! Let's sing a school fight song! As students, it's also our duty to nurture our own school spirit!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
Can you play any instruments?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Nothing in particular. If I'm forced to pick something, I'm all about the castanets! Oh, and I guess I can play the recorder a little bit.
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
I've always wanted to see some live music.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
Live music...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Don't waste your time! Plus going out to some venue late at night is a clear rule violation!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

I'd love to hear Sayaka sing sometime...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
I've never heard any of her music myself, but...she's apparently rather talented, isn't she? Personally, I'd love for her to teach me some of her vocal training regimen.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
As a disciplinarian, I often find myself speaking in public. It's important I project as much as possible!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
We should try singing something.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Hmm... If you absolutely insist, I won't refuse.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
So, what would you like to sing? A school fight song or the national anthem? Those are your two choices!
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
I wanna do some karaoke.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Makoto! What kind of deplorable activities have you been getting involved in!? To enter a private karaoke box with fellow students...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Your public morals are simply atrocious!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

That piano looks pretty expensive...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Naturally! This is Hope's Peak Academy, after all! Unfortunately, I don't know too much about this sort of thing myself.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
But it's official school equipment, right? They'd never buy some cheap knockoff junk! The equipment in this school must be of the utmost quality, in every field imaginable!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Haha! Gosh, I just love this wonderful environment! Let's do our best to make it even better, shall we?
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
Wanna try singing together with everyone?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
I don't mind that kind of thing as an official school event, but do you think they'd be up for it? It would require a uniform, and I know how students these days think it's so lame to dress the same!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
But that makes no sense to me! You should throw yourself into school events more than anything!
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
There's not much to do here...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
If I knew I'd be wasting my time doing nothing...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 19
...I never would have come here with you!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Garden

Wanna walk around a bit?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Walking is the perfect way to balance your mind and body! And as students, we must always maintain both!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Plus, walking helps strengthen the body as well. Two birds with one stone! So as long as we've got the energy, let's walk like we've never walked before!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
I'd love to just lay down and go to sleep.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
It sounds like you're interested in the Spanish custom of the "siesta."
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
But Spain's lifestyle is wholly inapplicable to the Japanese way of doing things! What use is there in thoughtless napping!?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
But I heard a ten-minute nap once a day can help you feel more awake and alert...
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
The happy blue sky kinda cheers me up...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
Well, it *is* a lovely shade of blue, but...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
...it's not real at all! They've made a complete fool of you!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Look at those chickens!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Is this how they're trying to teach the importance of life? By watching chickens breed? I can't imagine what caused this school to fall into such depravity...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
But I have to believe it's possible to return things to the way they used to be! I'm sure we'll get our chance to take the most excellent classes!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Hahaha! I just can't help myself from looking forward to the future!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
It's super humid in here, huh?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Perhaps if you observed your surroundings, you would know why! Clearly they're raising plants in here. So some amount of humidity is necessary! Not that ALL plants need humidity, of course.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
But either way, this place isn't designed with humans in mind. It's a plant-first ecology!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
Wanna do some gardening?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Hmm... I don't really have much experience with that kind of thing.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
Y-You must view everything as a challenge to overcome, Makoto! So...good luck!
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...

We can't eat these chickens...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Are you talking about how little meat they have on them? Indeed... But what we CAN eat, is these chickens' eggs!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
Wait, they might all be males! In which case...
...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 10
Well, where there's a will there's always a way! If it comes down to it, we gotta do what we gotta do!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
I understand that now! See how the school teaches us!? It just taught us that we only survive through the sacrifice of others!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
Do you like this place?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
Well, more than just this particular location...
...I don't dislike observing plants. I think there's definitely a lot to learn from places like this.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
So make sure you observe plants as much as possible!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
It's a sprinkler...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 01
Yup, that's definitely a sprinkler.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Ngh—! Makoto, you're not thinking of using that to get into some kind of...m-mischief, are you?
...No no no, you're not the kind of person who would ever think such thoughts!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
I'm sorry, Makoto! Please forgive me for ever doubting you, even for an instant!
Guide Project Makoto 06
Wh-What is there to forgive? What did you think I was gonna do...?
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...

General Reactions

These dialogues are the reactions Makoto will receive at the end of the trip, depending on which choice was made.

Best Option
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
We spent some very meaningful time together! Every day should be more like this! A day like today will never come around again. But then again...no two days are really ever the same. Well, I'll never regret the time I spent with you. We have to live each day to its fullest!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Okay, I'd better get back to my room. Come on, Makoto!
Good Option
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
That wasn't too bad, huh Makoto?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
Even being trapped here, if you just give up then you can never really grow. Let's find whatever mental escape we can in here, and just focus on that!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Okay, time to get back to my room!
Bad Option
Guide Project Kiyotaka 02
I wasted so much time... If we do hang out again, I'd like to do something more productive next time.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Okay, I'm gonna head out now. See ya!
Worst Option
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
Hrrrg... If I knew it was gonna turn out like this, I would've spent the time studying by myself in my room...!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
No, there's still time! It's not too late! I have to go now, Makoto!

Trigger Happy Heart

Trigger Happy Heart is a minigame in School mode. It uses mechanics similar to the Non Stop Debate trial minigame during Class Trials. During this event, Makoto will get insight into Kiyotaka's inner thoughts, and can refute or confirm something he is anxious about by using special Truth Bullets called "negation" and "affirmation". Successfully navigating this event is necessary to unlock Kiyotaka's ending.

Kiyotaka's Trigger Happy Heart
Guide Project Kiyotaka 19
Even when you confide in people, it doesn't solve anything...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
But still... I'd just like someone to listen...! But whenever I *do* start talking...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 02
...I just end up forcing my own beliefs, my values, myself on them!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 09
Is it fair of me to do something like that...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
But Makoto's like me, right? He has an ultimate talent. So maybe because it's him...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 19
...am I allowed to impose?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 09
Or am I just being unforgivably selfish?

Options

Affirmation: Is it fair of me
Guide Project Makoto 07
What's wrong with that?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 10
Nn...? Wh-What are you talking about?
Guide Project Makoto 23
You don't have to think of it like you're forcing anything on anyone. Try thinking of it like...you're just telling me about yourself. That's all I want.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
M-Makoto!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
I can't tell you how much that means to me! Honestly, I really appreciate it!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
But! But still...
Guide Project Makoto 22
Taka...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
What I'm haunted by... It's not the kind of thing where I tell you a story about myself, and it has an ending and that's it.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
The things I want to say, it's just me pointlessly droning on about how I think and feel. I'm just going on and on about my values and morals, without any real point to it.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
And if you're the person listening...isn't that just one giant nuisance?
Guide Project Makoto 21
If they're your friend, it's not a nuisance at all! To me, a friend is someone who can accept that kind of thing. Don't you think so?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 17
...
I... For everything I've learned up till now...what have I been missing out on?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 02
Listen, Makoto. If it's okay...
...would you mind being that kind of person? Someone I can talk to once in a while?
Guide Project Makoto 23
Of course! It would be my pleasure!
Guide Project Makoto 21
It looks to me like he had a really good time.
Negation: unforgivably selfish
Guide Project Makoto 10
No. You're not being selfish.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Wh...!? Makoto! ...Listen, you don't have to lie to me.
Guide Project Makoto 07
I'm not.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
But isn't it annoying to have someone force their beliefs on you?
Guide Project Makoto 23
It's not annoying, and you're not forcing anything. Everyone wants a friend that they can tell all their thoughts and feelings to. It's normal.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
It...it is!?
Guide Project Makoto 21
So you don't have to keep trying to hold it in, honest.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
I see... It would appear my education is still lacking!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
Thank you, Makoto, for showing me how much more I still have to learn!
Guide Project Makoto 01
I think we both had a pretty good time.
Negation: Is it fair of me
Guide Project Makoto 12
It's not like, unforgivable or anything. But if you can help it, you should try not to, I think...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
I knew it! You're right, I need to just stop...
Guide Project Makoto 18
H-Hold on! I didn't mean it like that...! I mean, rather than blurting things out you're not sure of, you should arrange your thoughts first.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
No no, it's fine! Don't worry about it!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
I'm sorry... I completely embarrassed myself in front of you.
Guide Project Makoto 13
Urgh... I totally messed this up.
Guide Project Makoto 05
I get the feeling he didn't have much fun...
Affirmation: unforgivably selfish
Guide Project Makoto 06
Yeah, it *is* kinda selfish.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
Ah... I was right, then. Thank you, Makoto. I'm glad to have someone confirm that.
Guide Project Makoto 13
Crap... I don't think things went too well...

Kiyotaka's Ending

If Makoto has achieved all 10 hearts by the 51st day of School Mode, Makoto will unlock Kiyotaka's ending.

Kiyotaka's School Mode Ending
Guide Project Kiyotaka 16
...
Guide Project Makoto 08
Taka... We're about to get out of here, but you don't look too happy about it.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 02
Makoto... Don't laugh, okay?
Guide Project Makoto 08
Huh...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 05
I'm...scared. Here, we have structure, order, discipline. What's waiting for us out there...? I don't see it as just escaping, you know? Couldn't you say that as students, we're protected by the school? That's what I started thinking about while we were sealed up in here.
Guide Project Makoto 11
I see... Graduating from high school and going out into the world definitely takes courage...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 04
But still... I know we can't just stand here! I think I learned that here, too...
Guide Project Makoto 21
Taka...
Guide Project Kiyotaka 15
I still hate geniuses! That definitely hasn't changed...! But other parts of me *have* changed. All that matters is that I keep pushing forward! I had it all wrong, you know... I always thought that showing emotion, showing concern or pain, was a sign of weakness. But that's not true at aIl. And you taught me that...!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
Thank you, Makoto! You don't know how grateful I am! This place was strange, definitely. But I also learned a lot while I was here.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
So I'm glad I got to spend my time here!
Guide Project Makoto 23
I...feel the same way. Our time here was bizarre, that's for sure. But we built some good memories, too. Which is why I have to believe this isn't the last time we'll see each other.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 02
...Makoto!
Guide Project Makoto 18
Huh?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 02
I need you to promise me something!
Guide Project Makoto 06
You do...?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
Remember what I told you before? About taking aim and doing our best together!?
Guide Project Makoto 11
Oh, um...
What was it again?
Guide Project Makoto 06
What was it again?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 12
Wh-Wh-Wh—!?
Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh-Wh—!?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 13
WHAAAAAT!? Did you seriously forget!?!? We talked about it SO MUCH! You! You're just—just—!
Guide Project Makoto 13
Oh, crap... I'd better remember! I feel like he might flip out on me any second!
Defeat the geniuses!
Guide Project Makoto 07
Defeat the geniuses! ...Right?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
In a general sense, I guess you could say that! But no, not exactly! Did you forget what I said!?
Guide Project Makoto 18
N-No, I just...! I mean, you said...
Keep trying and the world will reward you!
Guide Project Makoto 14
Keep trying your best, and the world will reward you!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 07
THAT'S RIGHT! And I want you to help me achieve that!
Guide Project Makoto 08
Wait, what? But...that's just like, a figure of speech, right?
Guide Project Kiyotaka 08
No! It's more than that! This world doesn't belong to the geniuses. Try hard enough, and your efforts WILL pay off. I'll see to that myself! And to do that...
...I've decided to become a politician!
Guide Project Makoto 05
Oh, wow...
His grandpa was a politician, so I'm sure he has what it takes to become one, too.
Guide Project Kiyotaka 14
Why are you standing there like this doesn't concern you? You have to become a politician, too! Together we can advocate for my ideas and change this country!
Guide Project Makoto 18
Whaaaat!? No, no way! There's no way I could become a politician! Totally impossible!
Guide Project Kiyotaka 03
In the face of effort, NOTHING is impossible! Hahahaha!
Guide Project Makoto 23
Taka's face was shining with an inner glow... I saw then that no matter what darkness might stand before him, he would shine through it. He stood there, smiling, talking about the future he was going to create. And I realized that it was one of many shapes that hope could take...
