Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles, also known as Prison School for the Gifted or Gifted Inmates Academy, (才囚学園, Saishū Gakuen) is the main setting of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. It is a prison school similar to Hope's Peak Academy. The difference is that it imprisons students and that it has a dome around it. It is run by Monokuma and his self-proclaimed children; the Monokuma Kubs. The Killing School Semester takes place here.
In Chapter 6, it was revealed that the sixteen students enrolled in the academy didn't have an actual talent; those talents were fabricated by the Danganronpa television show's creator, Team Danganronpa. Sixteen talentless normal students participated in the show, and all of their talents, memories, and personalities were fabricated to match with the viewers' interest.
In the last execution of the killing game, K1-B0 utterly destroyed the academy along with the mastermind, Tsumugi Shirogane and Monokuma, eventually destroying the surrounding cage.
Description
School System
In this world, the government has established a special promotional system called “the Gifted Program” that awards students carrying the promise of the future, called the Ultimates, with special privileges.
These Ultimate students are scattered throughout the country and have never met each other in person, but one day, sixteen Ultimate students are locked up inside the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles.
Killing Game
Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles is being run by a mysterious teddy bear called Monokuma who claims to be the headmaster, and his children, the Monokuma Kubs. According to Monokuma, this school is where the students overflowing with talent will compete with one another in a killing game.
Building Structure
The Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles is where the new Ultimate student's Killing School Semester takes place. The high school is in a garden surrounded by a cage and grass growing inside and dilapidated ambiance with an enormous all surrounding the building. According to Famitsu preview, it was prepared specially by the Monokuma Kubs. Because the interior of the school has been neglected for a long time, there's wild grass growing in places, and a pervasive sense of an abandoned building hangs about. However, with sunlight streaming in, it's very different from Hope's Peak with its sealed windows, and it seems that the player can look out and see what's going on the outside. Furthermore, this game too will have the 2D sprites on the 3D map. In addition, the player can explore a more realistic 3D map.
There is a hallway with grass and flowers growing in it, and a library with a huge number of books scattered around.

Students
A government-mandated program to identify its most gifted citizens and foster their growth and development. Those who have been selected for this program are known as "Ultimates." Ultimates are entitled to special privileges, such as voting rights, government subsidies, and eligibility to hold political office.

Ultimate Academy Regulations
The Ultimate Academy enforces strict rules among its student body. Students who violate these rules may be exterminated with extreme prejudice by the Exisals—highly mobile, bipedal weapon platforms. There are a total of five Exisals at the Ultimate Academy. Each one is a different color and piloted by a Monokub.
- #1: Students are required to cohabitate at the Ultimate Academy for the remainder of the unforeseeable future.
- #2: When a murder is committed in the academy, a class trial will be conducted. Participation in this trial is mandatory for all surviving students.
- #3: If the killer (hereinafter referred to as "the blackened") is correctly identified during the class trial, only the blackened will be punished for their crime.
- #4: If the blackened cannot be identified, or if an incorrect student is identified as the blackened, all students except the blackened will be punished for the crime.
- #5: If the blackened survives the class trial, they are declared the winner. At which point, they will graduate from the Ultimate Academy and re-enter the outside world.
- #6: If innocent students (hereinafter referred to as "the spotless") continue to survive class trials, the killing game will continue until only two students remain.
- #7: "Nighttime" is officially designated as the hours between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. During this time, the dining hall and gymnasium are closed.
- #8: All acts of violence toward Monokuma, the headmaster of the Ultimate Academy, are strictly prohibited.
- #9: Monokuma will never directly participate in a murder.
- #10: Your Monopads are very important items. Make sure you do not damage them.
- #11: A body discovery announcement will occur when three or more students discover a body.
- #12: Students have free rein to explore the Ultimate Academy as they see fit.
- #13: Students who violate these rules will be exterminated with extreme prejudice by the Exisals.
- #14: The headmaster may add additional regulations to this list at any time.
The following rules were added later:
- #14: Swimming is prohibited in the pool during nighttime. Touching the water is also against the school rules.
- #15: If two different murders by two different murderers occur at the same time, only the one whose victim was found first will be the blackened.
