Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is available with both Japanese and English language voices. The cast recordings were produced by the publishers Spike (Japanese) and NIS America (English).
Due to legal issues involved with Screen Actors Guild members doing non-union voice work, NIS America does not release cast lists for the English dubbed versions of Danganronpa, or credit them in the in-game staff roll. As such, English-language voice roles are largely confirmed via voluntary social media posts by the voice actors themselves.
The anime adaptation, Danganronpa: The Animation, is available with Japanese, English, and German dubbed voices, and was produced by anime studio Lerche. The original Japanese cast of the video game reprised their roles for the series. The English-language dub of the anime adaptation is produced by FUNimation, and includes a completely different cast, with the exception of Bryce Papenbrook who reprises his role as Makoto Naegi. The German-language dub of the anime adaptation is produced by FilmConfect.
